Our Dog Brandy

Hey folks, this is our story about our first family dog that worked out for us, that we adopted. Her name was Brandy, she was a young Golden Retriever, about 2-3 years old. 

We adopted Brandy after trying a couple of other times to adopt a dog. They didn’t work out for us because we had young kids, and they were just too rambunctious and nippy to have around our babies. 

So, After our 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, We wanted to do something for her to help her through her trial,  and thought we would, one more time, consider getting a dog. So we adopted a sweet, gentle golden retriever named Brandy. We finally found the one! She was approximately 3 years old when we got her.

Our 6 year old daughter is now 17, and sadly, Brandy passed away just last year in 2019. She lived to be a ripe old age of around 13-14 years old!

Golden Retrievers are one of the best dogs you could adopt! Especially if you have a family, they are sweet, kind, loving, good natured family dogs that thrive on your attention!
